Happy belated Easter!

Easter weekend was really nice (way back when). The Sextons and Langfords joined us in traveling to Nashville to visit the temple on Friday, so it worked out great to have an egg hunt and Grammy and Grandpa's house while we were there. Then on Sunday we hunted all over the field up at the Compound. And this may be the first Easter Sunday in recorded history that I didn't make the kids all line up for pictures in their church clothes. It's been so long now I can't even remember why not. Probably we were all hungry.

Lydia = Softball

Lydia likes sports. And she likes trying new things. Pretty much any activity Lydia hears about, she wants to give it a go. So this was her first go at softball. I'll admit, I was a little sad she didn't want to do soccer instead ("I'll do softball in the spring, and soccer in the fall!"), but I'm glad she's getting nice and well-rounded. She has plenty of learning still to go in this new field, but I was impressed with how much she learned in her first season.
