The other night before heading to bed, I checked in on the sleeping little ones and found Lydia like this on her bottom bunk:
Did she fall asleep that way or toss and turn her way down there after drifting off? (Her pillow is at the opposite end of the bed.)
I don't remember where we had just come home from in this photo:
But Lydia had fallen asleep in the car and we put her on the couch for a few minutes while getting the other kids settled in bed before getting her changed and in her own bed. I just love the look of a peaceful, deep sleep on a kid's face. It makes me wish I was right in the middle of a sleep like that.
I wish I could fall asleep in a car and have someone carry me into be and never wake up.
ReplyDeleteShe certainly gets her beauty rest...she is such a gorgeous little girl.
ReplyDeleteHow do kids sleep like this?! I only ask because I want to do it again. Wouldn't it save so much trouble? But no, I have to be in a cozy bed with some sort of head support, on my side with my knees bent to relieve lower back pressure. Man I'm old.
ReplyDeletep.s. I love love your recycled t-shirt dress. Super cute and eco-ey.
so cute! i guess we've been pushing jackson too much lately b/c he fell asleep on my parents boat when we were out skiing and then on the lazy river at dollywood.
ReplyDeleteLaughing, laughing, laughing! What a funny picture and the rest are very tender. Love them.
ReplyDeleteMan, I wish I could fall asleep in all those positions and sleep as soundly. Sleep, sleep, sleep.
ReplyDeleteSleep is looking really good to me....for me and the baby!
