When it's close to dinnertime the kids often start begging for a snack because they are "dying-hungry" (Josh) and can't bear waiting thirty more minutes for food. They are always welcome to have as many frozen peas as they would like.
"Mom, are we doing anything tonight?" "Mom, I'm still hungry." "Mom, when I grow up I want to be the ninja of fighting and stealth." "Mom, what if the whole world is just a giant pop-up book?" "Mom, the most disgusting collection of all would be...a booger collection."

The rule at our house for this predicament is "a piece of fruit"...I am going to have to try the frozen peas thing.
Wish I had thought of frozen peas about 40 years ago.
I thought I was the only person who loved frozen peas. They are sooo good!
This is a fave with andrew too. but it's part of his main course! (he won't eat them if they're not frozen)
There was a time my boy would chow down on those too. They're pretty good actually.
That is awesome. I will have to try that with my kids. Though Josh hates anything green.
