Yes it's here. Emma and Ben are having a good time but I'm beginning to think that the school day should start just a little later and end just a little earlier.
Jeanne - No, I didn't. I have to give credit to the good people at Target for that one. Also, I didn't clarify on the post, but their first day was actually Monday (the 11th)...I just didn't get around to posting about it until Friday.
Wow, they did start early! I swear, school starts earlier and ends later every year. I'm not sure it's worth it since, according to national statistics, our kids are some of the dumbest in the modern world (that may not be word for word....). My point being a) Maybe our kids need more time playing and exploring and less time sitting at a desk; and b) I wish I had more time with my kids too.... :)
"Mom, are we doing anything tonight?" "Mom, I'm still hungry." "Mom, when I grow up I want to be the ninja of fighting and stealth." "Mom, what if the whole world is just a giant pop-up book?" "Mom, the most disgusting collection of all would be...a booger collection."
