More seasons that not he can be found cleaning up for the Busdrivers, our church softball team. In game one this year he hit one home run. In game two he hit two. I am going to be there for game eight!! This footage from game two is less impressive in a way because the bases were loaded...he had to just jog so he wouldn't pass the other runners. I took some footage of him in game one on his phone, I need to ask him how to download that because he was able to full-out sprint in that one. (Near the end keep your ears peeled to find out what Ben was worried about while his dad was winning the game.)

Sporty and Smiley!(: Couldn't make out what Ben said..something about gum?
The Busdrivers. Are they a city league? I thought Scott was still at Scripps. Does he drive the bus now? You think you know someone . . . . .
oh sure well it's easy to get a home run if you hit it over the fence. but i guess it still counts.
btw, i like the photo where the depth of field puts the barrel of the bat just enough out of focus to make it look like scott's really taking a swing at you.
I caught "try anything....bubblegum"
Ok, really, who smiles when they are up to bat?
That's my boy!
"I couldn't find anything besides bublegum for twenty-five cents."
And Scott smiled extra this game because we were playing the other ward team.
Good to know benny has his priorities straight. "what's that? dad hit a home run? great, can we talk about bubble gum?"
ps-re: joel's comment--and he looks so *happy* to be swinging at you!
Must not be a short bus. :) Yeah for Bishop Scott. Doesn't he know that he has to keep his hits to doubles or under so to not make the rest of the priesthood holders feel bad. :)
