Ragnar Relay Tennessee 2011

We did it.
It was awesome.
I ran my last leg around 4am, what could be more awesome than that?
Scott ran five miles straight up a mountain (that's why I married him...that and his endless encouragement and enthusiasm).
I got to train with Lisa in the weeks leading up to the race, which made it so much more fun.
One event motivated me to start something new and end up loving it.

I almost hate to be the first one to comment, but I can't wait. I watched this through two times and I'll watch it through again when Dad gets home. Unbelievable!!

Super great job of putting the film together, and the run looks so fun and l - o - n - g !! Once again my heart swells with pride! I'm so proud of all of you! Amazing amount of miles run.

I loved the very end when you showed the miles run by each runner--the pictures with that were GREAT. They really showed the excitement of the participants and the event. I just stand all amazed! Wonderful. Thanks for making the film.

PS ~ Actually I have many favorite parts, but I have to say Scott's cartwheel was perfect. That's who Lydia gets it from. :)

It just seems like such not a big deal. 196, I mean, it's not that much. Kidding! I'm blown away and amazed and proud. Bonus, you've got some great runner's legs going on!

so what was you time?

did you ever get lost (running or driving)?

how many teams do you think were there?

Mom--the shots of each runner at the end were taken right when they finished their last leg--thus the victory poses.
Joel--we finished in 28:46:06. That placed us #79 out of 223 teams. No one got lost while running, but as drivers we got turned around a few times
